Our Story

Greetings opened on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich in 1983. It is the longest running independent greeting card and gift shop in London. Stocking the widest range of greeting cards in the UK at fair and honest prices - because one type of card does not fit all! Based in the heart of the community it is a family business that prides itself on providing a friendly atmosphere. Owned and run by a Husband and Wife team, Jay & Seema Patel (with a little help from their daughter Jessica!).

Always unique and never wanting to create a ‘chain shop’ atmosphere, Greetings has avoided expansion and stayed true to its Dulwich roots. Each product is personally handpicked by the owners with all tastes in mind. Endeavouring to stock products that are environmentally responsible and produced in the UK. Many of the greeting cards stocked are made from recycled and responsible paper sources and are free from plastic or eco friendly wrapping and packaging.
